Refrigerator Cookies 1 egg 1 cup brow-n sugar 1 cup flour 4 teaspoon baking powder *« teaspoon salt 1 cup chopped walnut meat >4 teaspoonful vanilla flavor. 4 cup melted shortening. Beat egg; add brown sugar and shortening. Mix flour, baking powder, and salt, sift and add to first mixture Add chopped walnut and vanilla and mix well. Roll out in a 2-inch roll dia­ meter roll wrap in wax paper and chill until firm Slice in thin slices and bake on’ un­ greased cookie sheet in an oven set at 375 degrees until brown, usually about 5 minutes.
