Young Adults of the National Association of Negro Business and Professional Wom­ en’s Club presented an after­ noon of fashions and music re­ cently at the Audubon Ballroom. Girl Friends, Inc. Gets .... New Chapter In Trenton The Girl Friends, Inc. install­ ed a new chapter, the Trenton Girl Friends, recently at the Pal­ mer Motor Inn, at Princeton, N.J. Hicks, president of the Committee For United Negro Relief, announced this week that her organization has shifted its annual Bridge Luncheon from the Hilton chain’s Waldorf-Astoria Hotel to the Americana Hotel because of the Hilton chain's failure to make clear its policy toward the reception of Negro guests at the Atlanta-Hilton Hotel and because of the controversy over Hilton’s Waldorf Astoria's employment practices in New York. The Committee’s action followed similar action against the Waldorf by the NAACP and the Urban League, which shift­ ed their ^annual affairs from the Waldorf for the same rea­ son. The Committee For United Negro Relief’s Luncheon will be held June 8 at the Ameri­ cana. It has been held at the Waldorf for the past 5 years. Mrs. Adams' GDR Campaign The Luthermae E.
