Program
The National Council of Negro

Twice As Many Negroes
Uterine cancer now takes the
lives of some 14,000 American
women each year — a tragic loss
when one considers the fact that
experts say uterine cancer is al
most 100 per cent curable if di
agnosed and treated in time. This
project is of especial significance
to Negro women since almost
twice as many become victims of
uterine cancer as do white wom
en.
