t * t The first hearing of the Tem­ porary State Commission on Low Income Housing was held Wed­ nesday at the Association of the Bar of the City of New York, 42 W. 44th St. Judge Hubert T. Delany, former Justice of the Domestic Relations Court pre­ sided Over 40 persons representing organizational lhterest in New York City housing problems were in attendance and scheduled to speak. Judge Delany’s opening state­ ment reiterated that the purpose of the hearing was “to aid the Commission in determining the best approach and method to carry out its legislative man­ date.” He indicated also that the scope of the Commission’s hear­ ings included all aspects of low- income housing, pointing out that the needs of those who depend on publicly assisted low-income housing “must be met efficient- Bunches To Visit Russia r . .. .
