I r Witnesses Will Stress World Work The presiding minister of the Upper Harlem Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses said ^this week the program at the rctini- n»s group's forthcoming inter­ national convention will stress unity of the, movement world­ wide. George W. Richardson, 465 W. 152nd St., said the first conven­ tion opens at County Stadium in Milwaukee, Wis., June 30 to July 7. The second assembly will con­ vene at Yankee Stadium ip New York, July 7-14. A total of 22 other conventions are scheduled for the U. S., Europe, the Mid­ east, Asia. Australia and the .Is- lanls of the Pacific. 125,000 x The gathering at the Stadium is expected to draw 125,000 dele­ gates from the Eastern United States, South and Central Amer­ ica, Canada and the Caribbean. The Upper Harlem Congregation is sending a record number of delegates to the convention. “The assembly worldwide car­ ries the theme • Everlasting Good News,* ** Richardson said, “ano wiU emphasise the need for peace and unity In a troubled and dis­ turbed world. This assembly Is unique because of convening In 24 cities In a 10-week period. This means that people of all races, kindreds and tongues will be meeting together,” he said.
