Fraziers Wed In Virginia Two Receptions Held Miss Dorothy Wiley, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James C. Wiley of Farmville, Va. was married there to Dan P. Frazier of New York City at the home of her parents-where the Rev. Samuel F. Griffin officiated at the double ring ceremony The bride was given In mar­ riage by her father. Miss Shirley Ann Wiley was maid of honor and George Carson of New York City was best man. The bride wore a street length white organza dress with three quarter sleeves and a full skirt With white roses. She carried a bouquet of white roses and Lil­ lies of the valley. The bride attended Virginia State College and is engaged in office work in New York City. The groom, son of Mrs. Matilda Tyner of Columbus, Ga. is a graduate of Columbia Teachers College and holds a masters de­ gree from New York University with a professional diploma and is with the NYC Board of Cor­ rection Department of Correction specializing in remedial reading. Betinett of Ridgewood, New Jersey, retired vice-president of General Foods Corporation, has been named a member of the Board of Directors of The Lighthouse, The New York As­ sociation for the Blind, accord­ ing to an announcement made today by William M. Robbins, President. The Lighthouse pro­ vides a complete program of free services in rehabilitation, training and recreation for 7.- 000 blind men, women and chil­ dren in the metropolitan area. A new 14-story Lighthouse build­ ing. the world s largest re­ habilitation center for blind peo­ ple, is now under construction on the site of the former Light­ house at Hl East 59th Street. Dedication ceremonies are ex­ pected to take place late this -fall. Kappas Aid Leadership WILBERFORCE, O. — Sixty members of undergraduate chap­ ters of Kappa Alpha Psi frater nity have been granted expense- paid scholarships to attend the fraternity’s annual Undergradu­ ate Leadership Conference to be held at the expansive Diggs Mem­ orial House on the Indiana Uni versity campus August 27-31. The director is Harlan Rand olph and said “the program is deisgned to prepare young Kap­ pa men for the roles which must be assumed once the fighting over the civil rights question is re solved and the Negro Is expect ed to be prepared to step into positions of leadership on a n equal basis.” Double Aid By Father In Wedding Miss Rose Marie Ryan, daugh­ ter of Rev. and Mrs. R. Y. where her father officiated and gave the bride in marriage in the double ring ceremony. Miss Mildred L.
