Concert Aids Hospital Music Service Work A benefit concert to enable the Hospital Music Service of the Protestant Council of the City of j New York to expand its music programs in the city’s hospitals, homes for the aged, and VA hos­ pitals will be held at 8 p.m.. Sept. 26, at Christ Church. 60th St. and Park Ave. Soloist will be Rose Reich, contralto; Norm* Auth, violinist; and James Cokley, tenor. They will be assisted at the piano by Adelaide Adams. The Hospital Music Service, whose director is Nora Hellen, is composed of over 140 singers, in­ strumentalists, dancers, comed­ ians. and other artists who vol­ unteer their services. They give an average of 55 programs a month in wards, auditoriums, day rooms before many thousands of patients. Some 30 institutions are visited monthly.
